The Reader Organisation's events bring people together, to engage and share books in non-intimidating and stimulating environments. We run a diverse and exciting series of events each year, at various venues across Liverpool and Wirral.

The annual Penny Readings

A variety of Readers' Days throughout the year

Food for Thought lunchtime events

We also run reading and discussion groups as part of local literary festivals, 'Reading Clinics' to help solve life's problems - serious or trivial - with the help of great literature, and storytelling sessions for children. 

For 2008, to celebrate Liverpool's year as European Capital of Culture, we delivered Shipping Lines: Liverpool Literary Festival for the School of English at the University of Liverpool.
